I took it in for brakes & dealer said front brake pads were not needed. Shouldn't they have noticed? should I file a complaint? If they checked the pads they should have noticed they were on wrong on 1 side. Now I need new front rotor. Is dealer liable for some portion of repair?
It beeps too -
on at 80,000 miles seems to be running fine but do these cars start to have major problems at 80,000 miles
seems to be running fine has been burned a lot of oil
The only way to get them off is take off the batter terminal. I called the Mini dealer but they couldn't tell me.I believe it may be an electrical problem and the flashers are a warning?
do you think it could be the timing chain tensioner?
It starts up right away and runs perfect until I come to a stop then it quits .It starts right up again no problem but then when I come to another stop it quits
The dealership says it will cost $1950, which is "parts only" - they have previously (within last 11 months) repaired the timing chain by replacing/installing a timing chain tensioner. Now they say the whole thing needs replacing. My car only has 52,000 miles. They also say the water pump is leaking, that the seal is loose. I don't trust them.
