The system that monitors tire air pressure may malfunction and not illuminate a warning light all times low pressure is noticed. This can result in unintended low air pressure or imminent tire failure that goes unnoticed.

Mercedes Benz notified owners of affected vehicles starting in September 2014. You can check with your dealer to see if your vehicle is involved in this program. It is helpful to have your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on hand when you contact them.
