Malfunction Indicator Light keeps coming on

(2006 Honda Accord)
in Pompton Plains, NJ on March 26, 2012
Today is the third time I've brought my car to the shop for his problem. First time they hooked it up to diagnostic and found nothing and light went off. Second time, code indicated that the thermostat had to be replaced which I did. Third time (today) hooked back up to diagnostic and code came back thermostat which has been replaced. Now what?

SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE OTHER ISSUES WITH TEMP.CONTROLS. SEEK A 2ND OPINION. IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHICH CONDITION YOU HAVE AND WHAT CODES YOU ARE GETTING. CAN YOU POST THE CODES?

Thanks for the response. I don't know the code, but they said it's the same code that came up that the thermostat had to be replaced. They reset the light to go off and said that if the indicator came back on again, to bring it back and leave it overnight cooled down and then they would hook it back up to the computer. It's Groundhog Day for me with this. I just picked up the car, light is off, drove home and light is still off. Fingers crossed. If it comes back on, I'm going to the Honda dealership by me. At least if I leave it overnight, they'll hopefully give me a loaner car... Thanks
