Low oil pressure, clunk, choking, stall,...after dizzy replace

(1991 Chevrolet S10)
I replaced my dizzy correctly (i believe). Now it stalls and clunks when revving in 2nd once engine/oil is warm. Shifts so smooth it makes me believe the timing is correct. Smoke is whitish.

I assume "dizzy" supposed to be the distributor, (?) .. Didn't have any "low oil pressure, clunk, choking or stall" problems before this work was done? .. Why was the distributor replaced?

Yes, dizzy= distributor.
I did not have any problems except for the late shifting and long high revving. There was severe lateral and vertical play in rotor.
