Loose front wheel

(1999 Buick Park Avenue)
in Baltimore, MD on September 10, 2010
My front passenger side wheel is completely out of alignment, making my car nearly impossible to drive. It started with mild shaking and handling issues but in about 24 hours I went to park it and noticed the wheel was completly turned outward while the other 3 tires remained straight. Thereafter, the car was very difficult to drive and its shaking terrible. Is this a axel, tie rod , or strut problem or is it all of the above? How much can I expect to pay to get it fixed?

Ditto, don't drive, get it towed to a shop for a complete inspection of the front end. Until an inspection is completed it's impossible to know what this is going to cost.
