Long starts but no check engine light is on.

(2011 Ford Edge)
It used to happen once in awhile but now it is happening once every 3 or 4 stats. I have already changed the purge valve so this is not the problem. I have read that it may be the fuel injectors leaking.
What seems to make the problem better or worse? It doesn't matter if it is cold or hot.
How long have you had this problem? A few months

Hello, diagnostic testing is definitely needed. A lack of fuel pressure or flooding of the cylinders -- either way -- can cause extended crank time. But so can improper air mixture, spark concerns...anti-theft considerations. Testing is the only thing that you can embark upon to get to the bottom of the concern.
