Location of the ECU

(1990 Chevrolet 1500 Pickup)
in Toano, VA on October 19, 2010
After replacing the engine and exhaust, the check engine light comes on randomly and then goes out. My mechanic seems to think it could possibly be the O2sensor but does not know where the ECU is located.

he does not need to. he needs to pull the code and trace down the reason. if it is the o2 then it is a simple fix. dont go to the computer till you have had a diag by a real tech
