Q: loacation of oil pressure sending unit. on 2006 GMC Envoy

Just trying to locate the oil pressure sending unit t replace original part. Ck engine light is on, guage goes above 80psi even without engine running and code called out the problem. Can anyonr direct me to a picture or schematic?

Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement
Tools Required
J 41712 Oil Pressure Switch Socket
Removal Procedure
Remove the intake manifold.
Disconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector (1).
Using J 41712 or equivalent, remove the oil pressure sensor.
Installation Procedure
Apply sealant to the threads of the oil pressure sensor. Refer to Sealers, Adhesives, and Lubricants for the correct part number.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Using J 41712 or equivalent, install the oil pressure sensor.
Tighten the sensor to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.) .
Connect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector (1).
Install the intake manifold.

On a 2009 Envoy Denali 5.3L V8 the check engine light is on. I read error code P0521 "Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Range/Performance". However, the oil pressure dial gauge in the instrument cluster is working perfectly normal indicating about 40psi at cold idle and goes higher at higher RPMs. How can this be? Does anyone know if the oil pressure dial gauge works independently from the OBDII?

I also read error code P0128 for "Thermostat below Thermostat Regulating Temperature" but I think this is a separate problem. There are no other error codes set.
