The mounting studs that secure the torque converter of the 6 speed automatic transmission to the 2.0L 4 cylinder engine may fail, resulting in the vehicle losing the ability to move. This could lead to an accident.

Recall repairs on your Ford or Lincoln must be performed by a Ford or Lincoln dealership. Ford will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in July, 2018. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Ford or Lincoln dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle.
