Leaking Brakes

(1999 Ford Taurus)

Brake light came on , checked resevoir. Very Low. Refilled. Two weeks later same thing.. Haven't noticed puddles anywhere... What needs to be fixed?

If no leak is visible at the wheels or brake lines and brake flex hoses check for signs of fluid stain on the brake booster at the flange between the master cylinder and the booster, if the rear seal in the master cylinder fails it will be a leak often over looked.

You have a leak in your system. The reason you do not find puddles under your car is probably because the leak is in a seal or a small whole in the line. It probably is only leaking when there is a lot of pressure exerted on the breaks (stopping from high speeds at a stop light). Try pressing on the breaks very hard at a complete stop. pump the breaks if necessary to build pressure. move the car forward and inspect the ground.
