Lately I have been hearing a high whistling sound when Im stationary in park.

Its been going on for about a month now but when I just let my truck run it starts to make that high pitched whistling sound and especially when its hot it makes that sound. Can you help?

Possibly a vacuum leak. Suggest trying to pinpoint the location of the noise by using a one or two foot length of rubber or vinyl tubing. Put one end into your ear, and move the other end around the engine compartment, when it's whistling. I've used this trick and it has worked well.
