On January 8, 2018, Land Rover recalled 8,480 Land Rover Range Rover. Jaguar land rover north america, llc (land rover) is recalling certain 2011-2012 land rover range rover vehicles, originally sold, or ever registered, in arizona, arkansas, delaware, district of columbia, illinois, indiana, kansas, kentucky, maryland, missouri, nebraska, nevada, new jersey, new mexico, north carolina, ohio, oklahoma, pennsylvania, tennessee, virginia, and west virginia, or "zone b." unless included in "zone b" above, land rover is recalling certain 2010-2012 land rover range rover vehicles, originally sold, or ever registered, in alaska, colorado, connecticut, idaho, iowa, maine, massachusetts, michigan, minnesota, montana, new hampshire, new york, north dakota, oregon, rhode island, south dakota, utah, vermont, washington, wisconsin, and wyoming or "zone c." these vehicles are equipped with certain air bag inflators assembled as part of the passenger frontal air bag modules used as original equipment or replacement equipment. in the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the passenger frontal air bag, these inflators may explode due to propellant degradation occurring after long-term exposure to absolute humidity and temperature cycling.

The passenger frontal air bag assembly is deployed by an inflator which contains propellant that makes the air bag deploy. This propellant may degrade over time, especially when exposed to humidity and temperature cycling. As a result, the inflator may rupture on deployment, which can send metal shrapnel through the air bag, striking vehicle occupants. This could result in serious injury or death.

Recall repairs on your Land Rover vehicle must be performed by a Land Rover dealership. Land Rover will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in February, 2018. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Land Rover dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Land Rover recall number is P084.

One or both flexible front brake lines can fail. This would result in reduced braking ability due to the brake fluid loss.

Land Rover will begin recalling vehicles March 13, 2015. If you experience a soft brake pedal feel, have difficulty braking, or you don't receive notification in a timely manner and believe you should have please contact your dealer for further instruction. They may ask for your vehicle identification number (VIN), so please have it handy when you call. Land Rover's number for this recall is P054.
