2010 Kia Soul Recall Details
Certain vehicles equipped with a sunroof are being recalled because a headliner plate can detach if the side curtain airbag deploys.
Kia will notify owners beginning February 2, 2015. If you don't receive notification in a timely manner and believe you should have, please contact your dealer for further instruction. They may ask for your vehicle identification number (VIN), so please have it handy when you call. The Kia recall number is SC112.
Kia is recalling these vehicles because the stop light switch can fail resulting in loss of brake light operation and may experience other electrical concerns.
Kia will begin notifying owners of affected vehicles during May 2013. If you are experiencing problems with the brake lights, cruise control, gear shifter, push button start, or Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system system, or if you don't receive recall notification and you feel you should have, please contact your dealer. They may ask for your vehicle identification number (VIN), so please have it handy when you call. The Kia recall number is SC098.
An electrical short circuit in the front and/or rear door could result in an electrical fire.
Kia will notify owners of affected vehicles beginning September 13, 2010. You may see no symptoms related to this recall but if you are experiencing problems with the lighting in a front or rear door, or you don't receive notification and you feel you should have, please contact your dealer.
