Kia rear night lights do not work

the night lights do not work, and have replaced bulbs and changed bulb socket. Have had some weird issues with the brake lights not always working too.

Were you able to figure out what was causing this problem with the rear lights?

If you go under the dash, on the left, you will find a little black box. This is the box that controls much of the lights. You can choose to change it or fix it. If you open it you will find that some of the pins need to be resodered. That should fix it. This little box get really hot. I drilled a bunch of holes in it to help with the cooling.
