Key won't turn in the ignition, steering wheel won't move, nor my gear shift,

does that mean I need a new ignition switch? How much would that cost?

Make sure the steering is not "locked" try inserting and turning the key and turning the steering wheel at the same time. Ignition lock is about $120 labor to replace is about .9 hour.
