Certain passenger vehicles equipped with rear disc brakes fail to conform to the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) no. 135, "light vehicle brake systems." the length of the rear wheel hub mounting bolts may prevent actuation of the park brake.

The parking brake may not engage fully because of incorrectly sized rear wheel hub mounting bolts being in the way. As a result, the vehicle may not be secure when parked.

Dodge and Jeep notified owners of affected vehicles starting in May 2007. You can check with your dealer to see if your vehicle is involved in this program. It is helpful to have your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on hand when you contact them. The recall number is G15.
