Jaguar XF Recall 08V396000

Rear Safety Belt May Not Rotate Properly

Recall Details

The D-ring that attaches to the anchor bolt on the rear safety belts may not be attached properly. If the anchor and D-ring are loose, the occupant of that seat may not be properly restrained in a collision. Dealers will inspect the D-ring, repair it, and reinstall it properly. The Jaguar recall number is J007. This recall began on August 29, 2008.

Our Quick Take

The seat belts in the back seats are secured by a special D-shaped ring to an anchor bolt. Because of how they are mounted, they may be come loose. If this happens, the person sitting in the seat may not be properly restrained in a collision.
