Is there a way to change fuel pump with out dropping the tank, I dont want drop it

(2002 Pontiac Montana)
Is there something else that could cause my problems besides the pump.
What seems to make the problem better or worse? I can spray starter fluid in the intake and it will start and run fine after about two or three sprays
How long have you had this problem? About a month

So - you stated > “ I can spray starter fluid in the intake and it will start and run fine after about two or three sprays”

IF engine ‘continues’ to run afterwards - it is NOT a fuel pump problem!
