Is the forward oxygen sensor difficult to replace?

(1999 Acura TL)
do these sensors need adjustment of any kind prior to installing?

no, not adjustable. there is a special socket to loosen it up.

why are you replacing it??

the check engine light came on, and the code finder determined that the sensor was faulty. My car has 147K+ miles, and it probably needs replacing anyways, even though the car would probably run fine without it. Thanks

a code never identifies a bad part, just a failed system. thats why a diag is required to verify the failure.
147k is about right for the o2 to be replaced but you need to make sure it is for the right reason.
