Intermittant horn blowing

The horn on our 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee goes off intermittanly.
What seems to make the problem better or worse? Nothing specific.
How long have you had this problem? A few weeks

Possible clock spring issue in steering column just below steering wheel - OR - horn pad / air bag assembly has deteriorated inside which will allow the horn ground circuit to close sounding horn - intermittently.

This repair is not recommended for the DIYer to attempt..

Suggest hands-on testing / diagnosis by qualified personnel.
