Interior lights won't go off

interior lights won't go off, and front window washer solution does not work either.

Washer not working is a common fault on the X5's and is an easy/cheap fix. The problem is the washer pump located on the washer fluid reserve under the hood. You'll notice 2 black pumps - one being for the front and the other for the rear. Repalcement pumps on ebay for around $18-$25. Not sure about interior lights but had same problem. Solved at time by switching interior lights on manually, then off again. Problem hasn't returned since
