Q: Injectors on 2006 Dodge Ram 2500

My 2006 Dodge Deisel has blown up twice in two months. First time Dodge honored the warrenty 100,000 mile 5 year Warrenty. When motor blew up the second time. They did not want to cover warrenty even though it has 87,000 miles on it. My injectors failed and they are blaiming it on contamination. I have kept up with regular maintence, fuel filter and oil changes. I have purchased all my diesel at Shell stations and Safeway stations. Have you had other fuel injector problems with this same year?

did you have it confirmed that fuel contamination caused the failure? if you did, get it in writing and present it to your fuel supplier. the worst time to get fuel is when the station is getting fuel. that brings all the crap up to the intake pipe and into your tank.

Should dodge be able to dishonor my warrrenty because of this it seems that this issue would be between the Fuel stations and the dealership not the consumer who already has to pay high prices for both products. To answer the queation they said that they sent off the injectors the second time it ceased up and some had failed. On my warrenty it says the injectors are covered and they never changed them. They have no proff that fuel contamination caused the problem. I have nothing in writing from the dealership, proving this was the problem, just they do not want to fix it we now have to go to court. Have you heard of the same problem else where? I have heard that the 2006 fuel filters made by dodge are not very good and have failed keeping out debree.
