The tag on my hood is gone and I need to know where to set my timing

The timing specs for your 1990 Toyota Pickup are as follows: 3VZ-FE 10 BTDC or 3F-E 7 BTDC. You should find a sticker on the front of your engine with one of the above designations. Timing is to be checked and adjusted with the engine at its proper idle speed and terminals TE1 and E1 of the check connector box jumpered.
