Ignition Switch, No ACC Position

(1990 Chevrolet Caprice)

I am not able turn the ignition key towards the ACC position, otherwise the ignition lock works fine.
Have the same problem on a spare steering column for my '72 Buick Riviera. A common problem!?

My problem is my key don't turn anymore - I forced it - now I can't move shifting lever.
how do I take it apart ?

Now I found out what the problem is!
It is the keys that are not the factory ones anymore. They have to be pushed with some pressure farther into the lock cylinder...
