Ignition lock cylinder replacement

I have no keys and want to replace the ignition lock cylinder. How?

Buy the new Lock cylinder first, about $12, it will have instructions. Remove the plastic cover(a couple of screws underneath}. Look behind the Ignition and you will find a small hole, insert a small screwdriver or stiff wire and push the locking pin to release the cylinder

So the key is in off position and locked.key is broken off inside.plus there's no hole behind cylinder to push in.and from underth there's a hole bur it serves no purpose.
