Idles extremely high

(1990 Chevrolet S10)
in Springfield, MO on January 01, 2010
Ok heres whats goin on, My s10 is actually an 89, but anyways after being started for a couple minutes it idles really high and wont stop, and the ses light is constantly flashing fast, when i try to drive it and give it gas it wants to stall and it hesitates for a couple seconds then finally takes off. I have checked every vacuum around the throttle body and they are good, i just replaced the IAC also, What else is there that it could possibly be?

Look at the data stream with a scanner, other wise your a just guessing and it could be a zillion things. Oh yeah, I found that the Throttle body gaskets crack and let in too much air and the engine will idle really fast. ( used to be a GM tech ) You can see this on a scanner, because the idle air control counts will be ZERO and yet the engine idles at 1500 or more.,

and also after its been running 10 minutes or so, and you shut it off, you have to wait awhile to turn it back on, bc if you try right after it wont turn over til about the 7th try.
