I was told that the main line fuse needs replaced.

(2006 Lexus GS300)
in Cedarville, OH on June 10, 2014
The main line fuse is located on the left side of the car, under the hood, and seems to be a part of a bar. What is this bar called and how do you replace this? My friend "Jerry rigged" it for now but I need to get it fixed as soon as possible. Will this be expensive to replace?

It is most likely a "fuse" . Take a picture and head to the dealer with your VIN number. They will get you the correct part. You may have to remove the fuse box to replace it from underneath. Question is - What BLEW it and what is there rt now that protects the circuit? Careful of your JURY RIG
