I started having a stalling problem ...just barely got the car home

(1999 Ford Escort)

ended up replacing the engine[not cus of stalling] i firgured all would be ok with all the scensors replaced car starts.. runs fines.. but want to stall under a load ..will restart without problem idle fine...fuel pump has been replaced with filter.. computer check engine lite..i feel it has to be in the car as the problem was encountered just be4 i replaced the engine

Re-check all your connections (where possible unplug then plug back in just to be sure).check all vacuum hoses , make sure they are routed correctly.If a vacuum line is sending the wrong signalit can cause drivability issues.Is fuel pressure regulator new or old one?
