I put a new friction disk in my clutch and now I can't get it into gear,

(1999 Ford F-150)
in Superior, WI on March 25, 2011
I didn't put in a new pressure plate,I did put in a new friction disk and throw out bearing.

I would guess the disc is in the wrong way round. Don't feel bad we have all done it! once !

Also - you state you replaced the throw out bearing. You mean the slave cylinder throw out bearing assembly?

If so, you will know that this is a hydraulic clutch that needs the air bled from it following disconnection of the fluid line.

If you did not replace the slave cylinder...you should have...
