Symptoms are indicative of an engine operating system malfunction other than a failing alternator.

Highly recommend *hands-on* evaluation by qualified personnel..

You see once the battery has become discharged to the point of engine stall due to a failing alternator - the engine wouldn’t start back up without a jump start - even then as soon as the jumper cables were removed - the engine would simply stall immediately due to insufficient voltage for engine operation..

There must be other deficiencies at play when the engine stalls.

So it can be electrical. Or can it be the voltage regulator. Its in the shop and they said they took the car for a ride and nothing happen. But yet it shut down on me on Saturday and Sunday while driving home.

Yes - it can possibly be an electrical failure - - - However it is NOT caused by the “voltage regulator” ..
