I just had a new PCM installed in my car by a a Ford dealer does the PCM control

(2005 Ford Five Hundred)

is the heating and air-conditioning system is it interconnected with the PCM module

pcm does control the a/c compressor. also if low on freon, will not kick compressor on. did it work before pcm replaced?

Yes, I stop by the local Ford dealership here where I work and they indicated they think it could be a stuck airflow door inside the dash that is preventing the passenger side from getting adequate cool airflow as I indicated the driver side is getting adequate airflow cooling air whereas the passenger side of the vehicle is much warmer air and the settings on the thermostats about the same
