I have an oil leak that is not from the oil pan. Where is it coming from?

I was told that it is either the oil sending unit, leak from the front seal or leak from the axle seal.

it is best to get some brake/parts cleaner in spray can (be careful most are flammable) and clean up around leaks so you can see where starting from. Also want to make sure you do not have excessive crank case blow-by or you may continue to have leaks even if repaired. May also want to put some UV dye in oil (best after oil changed, then clean so can see the fresh leak with dye from the source). May need to put on lift to see the source of leaks and clean.
