Q: I have a kia code cam,e up P2106 but can'nt find code on chart help on 2006 Kia Sedona

all warning lights would come on except check engine light and then my low beam lights would blow out. now when I turn the igntion switch on nothing happens.put on computer and it said P0134/ 02 Circuit no activity Detected Bank1 Sensor1 and P2106/ Trottle Activator Control System forced Limited Power can you help me with this problem.

P2106 ETC System Malfunction - Forced Idle Shutdown

•APP sensor / MAP sensor / ETC system has failed
•PCM has failed

Engine running; and the PCM detected the vehicle was in Forced Idle Shutdown state. The Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) Valve is a device that controls the amount of air that enters the engine required by the driver. This system is different than the mechanical throttle valve which has an accelerator pedal and connecting wire cable. The ETC system includes of a motor, a throttle body and a Throttle Position (TP) sensor. The PCM receives signals from the Accelerator Pedal Module and controls the ETC motor throttle valve. On vehicles with ETC, Cruise Control operates without any additional devices.

P0134 Heated Oxygen Sensor (Bank 1 Sensor 1) No Activity Detected

Possible Causes

Setting Conditions

•Base engine problem due to abnormal combustion in one or more cylinders
•Check for air leaks in the Air Induction system (e.g., in the intake manifold)
•Check for leaks present in the exhaust manifold or in the exhaust pipes
•Fuel pressure too low or too high
•HO2S connector is damaged (check pins for damage, and for moisture)
•HO2S signal circuit is open
•HO2S has failed (it may be contaminated with fuel or with silicone)
•PCM has failed

Engine runtime from 2-5 minutes; and the PCM detected that the HO2S-11 signal remained above or below the reference voltage to decide the rich/lean decision for 30 seconds. The HO2S is used to supply information regarding the composition of the air/fuel mixture. The HO2S is positioned in the exhaust pipe ahead of the TWC. To measure the oxygen content, the HO2S requires a supply of ambient air as a reference. The HO2S produces a voltage that varies from 0.1-0.9v under normal conditions. The PCM monitors this voltage and determines if the exhaust gas is lean or rich. If the signal is less than 0.450v, the exhaust is lean. If the signal is more than 0.450v, the exhaust is rich. The PCM constantly monitors the HO2S signal in Closed Loop and compensates for a rich or lean condition by decreasing or increasing injector pulsewidth as necessary.
