I have a diagnostic done on my car and i paid the $100 to get it.

I have a diagnostic done on my car and i paid the $100 to get it. Now can i take that diagnostic report to different mechanics to get the best price for my repairs?

If you trust them for diagnosis , why not trust them for the repair? That would also make them accountable for a mis-diagnosis , if any.

Remember you get what you pay for. The best price might not be the best value. Also if the first shop diagnosed the problem incorrectly and you take it somewhere else the new shop is going to charge you anyway and it may or may not fix the problem. Would you go to a Dr. for a heart problem and take that diagnosis to another Dr. for open heart surgery? You would most likely seek the 2nd Dr.'s diagosis before surgery.

Most mechanics will want to do their own diag. but prob.do what ever you and
your 100.00$ diag.tell them to do even if it don't fix your car!
