WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE (BENDIX CALIBERS & THE BENDIX CALIBERS) FOR[- MY 1990 MERCEDES 300SE-]. ALL PINS WERE GREASED.
on July 04, 2015
where ever you bought the calipers at,should have asked you if you needed the ATE calipers,or the BENDIX calipers.
the brake pads will fit either style.it should be stamped on the calipers, which style.where are the ones you took off of your car?they look the same, but are different.it's just like my honda, there are 2 different style calipers and brake pads for my car.i have to tell them at the parts house which ones i need, cause they don't know unless i tell them.don't know where you got them, but go to their web site and look them up,and see what i mean!

OH-OKAY! I GOT CALIBERS FROM AUTO ZONE, SO I'LL CK THE MODEL, AND YOU SAID THAT THE ["BLEEDER-SCREWS"]>>>MUST BE>>> [POINTED OR TURNED TOP-UP]?
on July 05, 2015
yes,and Autozones web site don't show all the different one's on the web, maybe in the store it ask that.Advance and Oreilly web site does show all the different ones.built to date, built from date, size of the rotors in mm,vin/chassis number, etc.maybe they still have your old ones, depending on when you took them back, they pick the old ones up once every week at every Autozone.unless you still have them.

YES! ALL-PADS-PISTONS WERE-GREASED, CALIBERS ARE (ATE) & BLEEDER SCREWS ARE TOP-UP. BUT, BREAK-PADS STILL LOCKS ON ROTORS & U CAN SMELL THE (PADS-BURNING) AFTER (20-MINS) OF DRIVING. SO, WHAT ELSE COULD BE CAUSING=THIS? !:( ***[[[""" 1990 MERCEDES 300-SE """]]]***

where did you put the grease at on the pads and the calipers?pistons greased where?pads greased where?
on July 11, 2015
HE GREASED THE PADS ON THE SIDE THAT TOUCH THE ROTORS & THE-PISTONS & SCREWS WERE GREASED B4 INSERTION. THAN I BEGAN TO DRIVE IT & AFTER ABOUT>>[2O-MINS] YOU CAN FEEL THE PADS PULLING YOU BACK WITHOUT APPLYING THE BRAKE-PADEL & THAN THEY COMPLETELY ["LOCK-UP-ON=WHEELS"] & I HAVE TO WAIT ABOUT (1/2=HR) FOR PADS TO COOL-OFF & RELEASE B4 THE CALL WILL MOVE & THAN THEY'LL LOCK-UP=AGAIN & YOU CAN SMELL THE>>[PADS=BURNING]!:( SO, WHAT DO YOU THINK COULD MAKE THIS HAPPEN?
on July 11, 2015
well i don't know who HE is,but your stuff is SCREWED!HE greased the wrong side!YOU DON'T GREASE THE PADS WHERE THEY TOUCH THE ROTOR!YOU ONLY PUT ANTI-SQUEAL ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE PADS,THE METAL PART THAT THE PISTONS ON THE CALIPERS PUSH IN ON!YOU DO NOT GREASE THE PISTONS!YOU ONLY GREASE THE SLIDE PINS.YOU AND (HE)HAVE A MAJOR SCREW UP!!!YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT I THINK HAPPENED?I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED.WHOEVER DID THIS DON'T KNOW SHIT FROM APPLE BUTTER!
on July 11, 2015
I'M SORRY. I REPORTED THAT WRONG. HE DID PUT THE GREASE ON THE BACK OF THE PADS & HE DID GREASE THE ["SLIDER-PINS"]>>B4 INSERTION. BUT, THE ["BRAKES-STILL-LOCK-UP"]>.AFTER (20-MINS) OF DRIVING.
on July 11, 2015
i don't know.they were installed wrong or the new/rebuilt caliper is sticking.is it just one side doing this or both sides?
on July 11, 2015
ALL 4 CALIBERS ARE STICKING & LOCKING-UP THE BREAK PADS!:(
on July 11, 2015
so you changed all 4 wheels with new brakes, rotors, and calipers.is that correct?did someone bleed all the brakes air out of the system?are you telling me that all 4 calipers are sticking,or are you asking me if they are?
on July 12, 2015
YES! HE BLEED THEM 3-times, front & back-wheels. BUT, ALL (4-CALIBERS) ARE STILL STICKING & LOCKING-UP-PADS ON ROTORS AFTER I DRIVE IT FOR (20-MINS)!:(
