i want to know if its my vaccum lines or something elose

Must be "something elose" ...loss of vacuum usually results in the 'default' defroster output... Possible actuator, mode door or hvac control itself...

could be as simple as a vacuum supply line off ( disconnected) in engine compartment

That would result in defrost mode only!! Which is the default setting on this vehicle!!... ..That's in case the windshield needs defogging/defrosting!!... Which is a good idea!
