I drive a ford 2001 ford ranger and my ac works when I first turn it on but once I have driven a while it turns off and doesn’t turn on again and it blows heat

(2001 Ford Ranger)
When I start my truck the ac motor kicks on works and it blows cold but as I drive after a while the ac motor turns off and doesn’t turn back on but continues to blow moderate temperature instead of cool
What seems to make the problem better or worse? When the truck initially starts it’ll continue to blow cold if parked but once I drive it’ll run for a little then it stops running
How long have you had this problem? Since I’ve had the truck

An a/c ‘gauge manifold set’ needs to be utilized for accurate pressure testing.
