I can't put gas in the tank without it constantly clicking off (as in full tank)

When I go to fill the gas tank - it will only take less than .1 gallon or less at a time without shutting the pump off. Just started about a two weeks ago and now happens all the time. Does anyone know what is causing this and what I need to do to fix it?

Have tank vent checked. That is the smaller hose that runs along side of
the larger filler hose(tube) sounds like it may be blocked.
