I am planning to replace the timing belt. Should I replace the waterpump also?

It is strongly recommended to replace the water pump at the same time you replace the timing belt.

yes replace the water pump depending how many miles u have on ur car get underneath and check the head gaskets to see if there leaking too the left bank will leak anti freeze and the right bank will start to leak oil depending on te miles u have on it. im doing a 2003 forester right now they had the timming belt replaced about a year ago but he didnt check the head gaskets if ur head gakets are leaking replace them with subaru pn11044aa642 im guessing u have the single layer head gasket in ur car this head gasket fis the turbo 2.5 and is the same head gasket but it is multi layered head gasket
