coolant is dripping between the engine and transmission.Does this sound like a head gasket leak? It is a standard transmisson

I am guessing . yes? For i to just recently noticed my1990 toy 4runner. leaking fluid in the same area , it started over heating ..radiator was always empty no mater how often i stoped to put water in"""well needles to say,my truck is having to be fixed. Needs s new head gasket so beware
