Hyundai will begin notifying owners of affected vehicles during June 2013. If you are experiencing problems with the brake lights, cruise control, shifter, push button start, or Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system system, or if you don't receive recall notification after the notification date, please contact your Hyundai dealer. They may ask for your vehicle identification number (VIN), so please have it handy when you call. The Hyundai recall number is 110.

Hyundai is recalling 2007 through 2009 Santa Fe models because the air bag system may not properly detect an occupant in the passenger seat and fail to deploy the front passenger airbag in an accident.

Hyundai has not provided a notification schedule for this recall, so please contact your Hyundai dealer to determine if this applies to your specific vehicle and if so, when they can address this for you. It’s helpful to have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
