RepairPal Expert Overview on October 7, 2016

The passenger air bag may not fully deploy in an accident because of a problem with a wiring connector being dislodged from the front passenger seat occupant classification system. This could result in increased risk of occupant injury. Additionally, the system will not be able to detect when a child is in the front seat, resulting in first stage deployment of the passenger frontal air bag in an accident, when it should be disabled. This could result in injury also.

Recall repairs on your Hyundai must be performed by a Hyundai dealership. Hyundai will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in December, 2016.
