I prefer to use a scan tool to reset the service indicator, but it can be reset via the instrument cluster. Set the key to position 1, get the service indicator on the dash by using the steering wheel buttons, press and hold the R on the cluster until the confirmation message comes up, and use the steering wheel buttons to confirm the service. In addition, your vehicle owner's manual may have instructions on how to reset the service indicator.
