How to replaced the fuel pump

(1999 Ford Expedition)

I didn't got any symptoms till I tried to start my car again at home. Can't hear the pump when u first open the key.

Verify your fuel pump relay under the hood is working. Verify the inertia switch has not been tripped. Then check the fuel pressure as delane says.
