Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
Raise and support the vehicle.
Drain the tube from the heater case
Remove the heater hoses from the heater core
Lower the vehicle.
Remove the console, if equipped.
Remove the right side closeout/insulator panel.
Remove the left side closeout/insulator panel.
Remove the steering column opening filler.
Remove the floor air outlet duct.
Remove the heater core cover
Remove the heater core mounting clamps
Remove the heater core
