try running the car with the rad cap off when it starts to overflow then shut the car off and let it cool down then refill it again until it warms up again you might have to do this a couple of times unless you have a bleeder screw on it I assume the valve you are talking about could be a bleeder screw
Can buy a new air bleed off at NAPA but a little pricy at about 70.00.
Trun it to see if it breaks off, nothing to loose! Even if it brakes off should not leak!
Warm up engine first.
