How much will it cost to replace the rear main seal.

I have a a 1.5L 4 cylinder with an automatic transmission

It is going to take about 4.5 hours to remove the transmission and flywheel. Then about 1/2 hour to remove and properly replace the rear main seal. A factory seal goes for about $80, so figure about $450 labor ( 90 per hour ) and then $80 or about $530.
