(1999 Ford Contour)

I am low on transmission fluid, but I don't know how much to add. Does anyone know how much the 4-cyl takes?

Add 1/2 quart at a time of the correct fluid type until the fluid is at the proper level. Please continue to monitor the fluid level if it becomes low again that would indicate a fluid leak.

Should I use a stop leak or Sea Foam to try to remedy wherever the fluid is going?

Stop leak is only a temporary fix if it works at all. Make sure when you add fluid the car is running and in PARK.
