How much to replace torque converter solenoid

(1999 GMC Yukon)
in Lynchburg, VA on March 30, 2014
A week ago car showed code P0171. Shop cleaned throttle body, found no vacuum leaks, and cleared code. One week later engine light came on, code was P0741. Shop diagnosed as the torque converter solenoid was stuck in the "on" position, so needs replacing requiring opening up trans to access.

Engine stall when comming to a stop or stall when shifted into gear with warm engine?.To replace the "torque converter" solenoid parts and labor should be 'approx'.$175.00 to $225.00..now that's the price i would charge here in Franklin County, VA. That should get you in the ball park!
