I already know the problem, I just want to know the estimate for a whole replacement near Holmen, WI.

    thats called a crank kit. comes with crank, all new bearings, gaskets and fluids. the motor has to be removed and the bottom end replaced. you shouls add an oil pump and timing components with it.
    the labor is 17.5 hours. i dont know the labor rate in your area but it is around 100 per/hour here in pa.
    the parts are about 450. as well

    I found that whole kit to be $200 online without the oil pump and timing components. i just thought you could get the bearings separate because the car has already been inspected by a mechanic and i'm debating on trading my 2000 ford ranger for that vehicle, except it's an eagle talon tsi awd, which they didn't have listed on this site but same vehicle damn near. $100 an hour sure sounds ridiculous for something i could do myself over time but i want it to be done correctly, especially with the turbo on there.
    here's the car, if you could take a look at it and tell me what you think, i'd appreciate it.
